Victorian Circular Economy Recycling Modernisation Fund – Round 6
This fund supports capital equipment purchases to process priority materials and accelerate Victoria’s circular economy.

Objectives
✅ Divert materials from landfill
✅ Promote the circular economy
✅ Support reduction, reuse, repair, recycling and recovery of priority materials (Hard-to-recycle plastics, E-waste, tyres, liquid paperboard, textiles)
✅ Increase processing capacity for materials affected by export bans
✅ Improve the quality of recycled outputs for remanufacturing
🏛️ Eligibility:
• Australian businesses
• Social enterprises
• Victorian local governments
• Not-for-profit organisations
💰 Funding Available:
• Grants: $50,000 – $500,000
• Co-contribution required:
• For-profit: 2:1 (government: applicant)
• Not-for-profit: 1:1 (government: applicant)

🌱 Funding Alert: Circular Markets Grants – New South Wales
Local Councils in NSW: here’s your chance to secure funding to put your FOGO compost to work right in your own backyard!
The Circular Markets Grants, delivered by the NSW EPA, are offering grants of up to $50,000 to help councils create and test innovative local uses for compost made from household Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO).
📅 Closes: 23 March 2026 (2:00 pm)
🎯 Objectives:
✅ Create & test diverse local opportunities to use FOGO compost within the community where it was generated
✅ Identify & overcome barriers to using FOGO compost by councils and local partners
✅ Stimulate new markets through practical, on-the-ground demonstrations of compost benefits
✅ Increase awareness among residents and council teams about the value of quality compost
🏛️ Eligibility:
- NSW Local Councils (single or in groups) with an existing or planned FOGO service.
- Projects must be completed with final reporting submitted by 30 June 2027.

- Grants: Up to $50,000 (ex GST) per project.

🚀 NSW MVP Ventures Program – Round 3
This program supports NSW startups and SMEs to commercialise innovative products and progress them toward market readiness.
📅 Applications close: 5 April 2026
Objectives
✅ Accelerate pre‑market development and commercialisation of innovative products in NSW
✅ Progress products along Technology Readiness Level 3–9
✅ Increase participation from under‑represented groups (women‑owned, regional, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses)
Eligibility
• Headquartered in NSW
• Valid ABN
• ≤10 FTE employees
• Turnover ≤$400,000 for the past 3 years
• Project delivered within 3–12 months
💰 Funding Available
• Pool: $3 million
• Stream 1: $20,000–$50,000 with 50% co‑contribution
• Stream 2: $20,000–$75,000 with 25% co‑contribution (women‑owned, regional, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander‑owned)
