MRA – the best small waste consultancy in Australia for 2013

In the 2013 edition of Inside Waste’s consultant’s Review, a large field of respondents were surveyed. The 2013 review, printed in the February 2013 edition, stated: “The small consultancy category was won easily by Mike Ritchie and Associates… …While MRA was strong across all categories, its overwhelming dominance in the reporting and compliance category gave it the lead.”

Mike Ritchie, director of MRA, received one of the review’s bouquets: “Mike Ritchie has a very good strategic overview and appreciation of the practicalities and politics of waste management in Australia.”

Of the six categories surveyed, MRA was in the top three places in five. MRA took first place in the Best in Environmental/Greenhouse Management, Reporting and Compliance category; second place in the Best Technology and Infrastructure Evaluation, Best in Strategy, Policy and Planning, Best in Tender Development and Evaluation categories; and third place in the Best Landfill Design and Engineering category.
