♻️ Grant Opportunity: Resource Recovery Boost Fund (Queensland)

The Queensland Government’s Resource Recovery Boost Fund (RRBF) is supporting councils to build or upgrade recycling infrastructure and lift diversion from landfill.

🔷 Objective
* Establish or enhance key recycling infrastructure to meet local/regional/State priorities and boost recycling rates.


🔷 Eligibility
* Open to all QLD councils, groups of councils, and representative entities.
* Partnerships with other councils or the private sector are encouraged.
* Councils may participate in up to two projects, with at least one as a joint project.


🔷 Funding (Round 1 – $60m total, Overall program value $130m)
* Stream 1 – Small projects: Up to $2m per project; delivery within 18 months.
*  Stream 2 – Major projects: $2m+ per project; delivery within 3 years.


🔷 Key dates
* Applications open Mon 13 Oct 2025.
* Stream 1 closes: 3:00 pm Thu 11 Dec 2025.
* Stream 2 closes: 3:00 pm Thu 29 Jan 2026.
