Sustainability Victoria Resource Recovery Infrastructure Fund grants: round 4 now open

Sustainability Victoria is providing a $4 million funding boost for major recycling projects to expand operations to recover valuable products and reduce waste going to landfill. This round is part of the Victorian Government Recycling Industry Strategic Plan (RISP) to support investment in recycling infrastructure which has so far awarded $14.5 million to support 47 projects through the Resource Recovery Infrastructure Fund.
These fourth round grants of between $40,000 and $500,000 are aimed at businesses and local government to support:
- greater sorting;
- improved recovery; and
- reprocessing of priority materials outlined in the Market Development Strategy such as plastic, paper, cardboard and glass.
