Planning approvals before Christmas – It’s a wrap.

MRA’s planning team is glowing this Christmas with two development approvals granted in the last two weeks. Both approvals are for resource recovery facilities helping keep valuable materials out of landfill.

MRA’s planning team is glowing this Christmas with two development approvals granted in the last two weeks.

Working with Fairfield City Council, approval was granted for build and operation of a Community Recycling Centre. CRCs are an initiative of the NSW EPA and aim to manage hazardous and other problem wastes. The Centre will act as a drop off point for the local community and is free of charge.

A second win for resource recovery comes with the approval of a 20,000 tpa construction and demolition waste processing facility in Wetherill Park. The facility will sort C&D materials, diverting reusable outputs from landfill.

MRA specialises in environmental assessments for waste, resource recovery and organics processing facilities. To talk to us about planning related inquiries, please contact Esther Hughes on 0427 139 702 or Esther@mraconsulting.com.au.
