♻️ Grant opportunity: SEQ City Deal Organics Processing Program♻️

Aim:
To create new sectors to spur economic growth, sustain meaningful employment throughout SEQ, invest in organics processing infrastructure and methods, and lessen the environmental effect of waste.
Funding:
Capital costs for establishing or upgrading organics processing facilities, covering infrastructure for bulking up, decontamination, processing, and classification.
The program provides two separate sources of grant funding totalling ($36 million pool).
- Stream 1 – Small projects ($12 million pool): up to $3 million per project.
- Stream 2 – Major projects ($24 million pool): over $3 million per project.
- 1:1:1 funding basis.
Eligibility:
The lead applicant must be a CoMSEQ council as of 21 March 21.
